Welcome to the UK's first website for aunts, godmothers and ladies who love spending time with (and spoiling) their nieces, nephews and godchildren!
This content on this website is for aunts by name or relation, of all ages, experienced or first timers, by accident or by choice, go-getting godmothers, workaholic aunts and every type of aunt in between.
I created Great Aunt because, as an aunt to 22 children, I had lots of unanswered questions (how do I hold my best friends baby?) and never knew what to buy them (especially at Christenings).
I am now on a mission to collate advice and inspiration from British aunts and create a resource that helps aunts to feel great about the important role that we play in the lives of the children we love.
